Jupyter Notebook (formerly IPython Notebook) is a free and open-source interactive web tool known as a computational notebook, which researchers can combine code execution, computational output, explanatory text and multimedia resources in a single document. It is a powerful way to write and iterate on your Python code for data analysis. According to co-founder Fernando Pérez, the name was created to the three programming languages which are Julia (Ju), Python (Py) and R.
